Norman General

Here are a couple quick shots of figure I painted up to serve as a command figure for my Normans. He's from Old Glory 25's just like the other Normans.

In other news, the wife and I are going to Historicon later this month. I've never been, and she agreed that it should be fun, so we're both excited for the trip out to Pennsylvania. I hope to relax, play some games, meet some people (particularly those from our area), and spend more money than I should.

HIC EST ARTORIUS PENDRACONIS, REX BRITTANIAE

I thought I would share my newly painted figure of Arthur from Old Glory 25's. I was very impressed with the quality of the set he came in relative to their super low price, as well as the quality of the pack of 'Upper Class Saxons' I purchased as well from their Age of Arthur range. The shield is a transfer that I designed myself and printed off on some water-slide paper. It was inspired by Bernard Cornwell's Warlord Chronicles.

There he is: the once and future king.

And as a special bonus, here's one of those Saxons I mentioned:

Sutton who?
